 2020-2021 Scholarship Opportunities Are Available!


The Planned Giving Group of New England (PGGNE) educates, connects and inspires New England gift planning professionals in the advancement of philanthropy.


Keeping to its mission, PGGNE is pleased to award scholarships on behalf of the PGGNE membership community on a need basis. These scholarships are designed to encourage and enable institutions that have a planned giving program, or would like to establish one, to associate with members of PGGNE and to take part in its meetings and activities.



 PGGNE is proud to offer the following for the 2020-2021 year: 


New Member Scholarship

For: New Members

Value: $425
Application Deadline: August 31, 2020


This scholarship is available to non-profit organizations new to PGGNE. The recipient receives membership into PGGNE as a Non-Profit Member for the 2020-2021 year and corresponding member benefits; which include free registration at our 8 monthly meetings, discounted conference registration, and the opportunity to participate our mentoring program. By accepting the scholarship, awardee agrees to faithfully attend PGGNE meetings and volunteer during at least one monthly meeting.


Annual Conference Scholarship 

For: Members & Non Members

Value: $225-275
Application Deadline: March 30, 2020 


This scholarship is intended for small non-profit professionals, small-shop/independent allied professionals, or fundraising/allied professionals new to the field of planned giving that demonstrate the need for education and development in gift planning. The recipient receives free registration to the PGGNE All-Day Conference (May 18, 2021), an all-day educational event with 300 colleagues to network with. By accepting the scholarship, awardee agrees to attend the conference.





Key Criteria:


Applications are open to all non-profit and allied professionals seeking to further their scope of understanding in the field of Gift Planning. Preference will be given to non-profit and allied professionals who are either new to the field or actively seeking work in fundraising and those working with small operating budgets.
