Eight Monthly Meetings (September through April) (Not Applicable for Associates)

  • For the remainder of the 2020 calendar year, we will offer three separate virtual meetings per month, in the form of our great monthly luncheon speaker series, “Technical Tuesdays” – a case-study style dive into a gift vehicle or topic, and a PGGNE Social Hour to informally connect and share ideas and stories.
  • Once we are back to in-person meetings, hopefully starting in January 2021, we will revert to one monthly meeting in which we offer:
    • Two morning programs: Basics and Nuts & Bolts. The Basics session is designed for the entry to junior-level PGGNE members, while the Nuts & Bolts session is geared for more seasoned gift planning, advancement, and allied professionals.
    • A luncheon and networking for all, accompanied by a distinguished speaker.
  • You are welcome to invite a colleague to attend in your stead for any meeting you are unable to attend.

Registration to the Annual All-Day Conference (Not Applicable for Associates)

  • This top tier conference brings together planned giving professionals, allies, and vendors in an extraordinary day of learning and networking. Previous featured speakers included Gerald Chertavanian, CEO of Year Up and Celia Hoffman of the Goodman Center, Los Angeles who spoke about Storytelling.
  • This year’s conference will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Courtyard Marriott, Boston theater district.

Mentoring Program

  • One of the premier benefits of a PGGNE membership is the Mentoring program. Our regional council has one of the most active programs nationally.
  • The longstanding Mentoring Program appropriately matches mentors and mentees to provide opportunities to enhance one’s professional network and learn insightful and practical tips from more seasoned professionals. To participate, please complete the Mentoring Program sign-up form.
  • In the 2020-2021 year, the Mentorship Program will also continue its monthly virtual meetups where Mentors and Mentees alike can brainstorm general fundraising and planned giving dilemmas and their potential solutions in this new environment. This open forum allows the discussion of best practices and the generation of new ideas and approaches.

Job Postings

  • As a member, you will have access to career opportunities as soon as postings are received. Our members receive a discount to post openings your organization is looking to fill.

  • Only members may access the online directory of PGGNE members, sortable by name and type of organization – a great way to find and be found by professionals in the gift planning space with whom you may wish to collaborate.

...Plus More...
